John Harrison, Cherry Gillespie, Kenneth Ball, Christmas Party 1971.

Kenneth had been an actor but was better known in East Grinstead as a photographer. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Genée Theatre, at various times a director and Trustee, and of Bush Davies. He was Chairman of Education for West Sussex CC and provided the eulogy at Miss Bush's memorial service in 1977. He was also, as on this occasion, Master of Ceremonies at several Christmas parties. Cherry left BD to join Pan's People and later featured in the original London production of A Chorus Line. She will be remembered for the remarkable performance she gave as Swanhilda in the 1972 production of Coppelia (see History>Performance and Choreography>Page 8>Programme and Review by Fernau Hall in the Daily Telegraph).
