2009
MARKS THE TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CLOSURE OF
BUSH DAVIES SCHOOL

Internet Technology was in its infancy in 1989. Computers had not found their place in school classrooms. It now seems apposite, using the World Wide Web, to describe what Bush Davies was. In doing so we can explore why it held such an important position in the specialised field of dance training together with a secondary education which it pioneered in the United Kingdom and the esteem that it held throughout the world.

We launched the web site on 1 May 2009. Since then we have had a steady daily average of 10 - 14 new visitors. This is very encouraging and we are thrilled with the numerous e-mails sent in from Bush Davians and others. It also puts a little pressure on us to complete the task, particularly in the History section. We shall resume work on it during the winter months.

This web site is primarily intended for Bush Davians. However, there are those who may happen upon this site and wonder what Bush Davies was all about. We hope that you and our former students will find it informative.

We are totally dependent on personal input. So we welcome any ideas; photographs, memories, e-mails or letters which we can publish in Your Space (see link above). Also, in Bush Telegraph, you will find a small number of items for sale and some new sections under construction.

This web site is for you.

Buttons at the top and bottom will link you to the various subjects.
Links at the bottom of each page will guide you through the individual pages.
If in doubt, always return to Home.
The web site has been constructed using a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024.
