Over the ensuing years I often visited Charters to stay with Paul and John (we still talk almost weekly on the telephone). In 1982 I was thrilled to be asked to play Nancy in Oliver at the Genée Theatre, directed by Sue Passmore. I enjoyed being 'at home', working this time!
I continue to work as an actress/singer, have a page in The Spotlight, have an agent and am a life member of Actors' Equity and, Miss Bush, never have I had to teach one dance class! As they say, I am available for work!!
With my love to you all,
Norma
Norma's versatility can further be measured by noting her appearances in Shakespeare at Ludlow Festivals and Regent's Park Open Air Theatre: Repertory at Dundee and Westcliff: other theatres at Northampton, Plymouth, Farnham and Newbury. Pantomimes at Southsea, The Pinder of Wakefield, Northampton, Tunbridge Wells amongst others. There have been extensive television and film credits also.
"It has been a privilege to have had Poolie-Poohs as such a close friend all these years. If ever I want to know what's happening in the theatre, she is my 'bush telegraph' and sage!" (Paul)
